Tips
- Use plastic grocery bags inside your bathroom waste baskets instead of buying those tiny trashbags. You can fold up 4 or 5 in the bottom underneath the one you are currently using - makes for speedy changing.
- Buy several girlie-cute binders from Walmart or Target to keep your recipes and organize by category having a binder for each (Sweets, Speedy Weeknight Meals, Sides/Salads/Soups, Breakfast/Breads, Beverages/Party Foods) and make a space for them under a cabinet so that they are within reach.
- Buy a stack of 4x6 plain white (without lines) index cards. I use them for notes to the teacher, quick gift tags (using decorative edge scissors and markers) and most of all - they make the best grocery lists. I keep a stack on my desk at work for To Do's and a stack in the drawer at home.
- Keep nail polish, remover and cotton pads in a little cosmetic case in the car. I NEVER paint my nails at home - always at stoplights on the way to work. You get really good really fast when you are painting with red! And who has time to paint nails at home? Toes are another story.

42. When you go to buy bread in the grocery store, have you ever wondered which is the freshest, so you 'squeeze' for freshness or softness? Did you know that bread is delivered fresh to the stores five days a week? Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Each day has a different color twist tie. They are:
Monday = Blue
Tuesday = Green
Thursday = Red
Friday = White
Saturday = Yellow
So if today was Thursday, you would want a red twist tie; not white which is Fridays (almost a week old)! The colors go alphabetically by color Blue- Green - Red - White - Yellow, Monday through Saturday. Very easy to remember. I thought this was interesting. I looked in the grocery store and the bread wrappers DO have different twist ties, and even the ones with the plastic clips have different colors. You learn something new everyday! Enjoy fresh bread when you buy bread with the right color on the day you are shopping.
More to come!
