D is for Doughnut

A couple of weeks ago, Miles' class was studying the letter D.

D is for Doughnut...

Lots of them...




I wish we could have taken pictures while frying them - sort of a tutorial, but as fast as you drop them in the oil, you have to flip and then pull them out!

Afterwards the class got to shake the warm doughnuts in bags of powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar.



And as you can see, this was big fun for Miles...
